Three French Hens

The first snow of the new year brought with it memories of the Christmas that should have been…

Despite December’s warm temperatures and shattered dreams of those hoping for a white christmas, this holiday was certainly jam-packed with reasons to celebrate…

On December 17th, The Supper Model officially launched it’s catering and events arm with a Christmas party on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

130 guests enjoyed every classic and contemporary Christmas delight: from country pate, honey baked ham, and smoked salmon with caviar to brussels sprout pancetta pizza’s, savory palmiers, and sage goat cheese filled dates. A full dessert buffet gave guests a chance to sample christmas cookies, bourbon balls, cardamon crescents, chocolate-coconut “snow flake” cupcakes, and peppermint meringues. The egg nog, mulled cider, and signature Pomegranate Martini’s were flowing as guests danced to the best of mid century christmas tunes…

Cheese, candles, and cookies…

means The Supper Model is open for business!

But now that the decorations have been put away, and the last batch of gingerbread has been consumed, we’re settling in for a long winter’s nap taking with us three kings of recipes direct from The Supper Model’s Christmas and New Years table.

Peter Piper Pumpkin Soup, City-fied Country Pate, Beef Wellington or rather rare-ington… all recipes to come!

What a perfect way to counter this cold start to 2012…
