Late August nights in downtown NYC have a quiet magic about them. Last night with the full moon high in the sky above Tribeca, I hit up Marc Forgione’s brand new Laotian restaurant {KHE-YO} on Duane Street. I must say that it was one of the more impressive meals I’ve had in NYC this summer: Southeast- Asian flavors and traditional preparations are mixed creatively with modern cuisine techniques & style.
The result is truly well balanced cuisine and cocktails, and above all a mind blowing-ly delicious dinner experience!
Must tries:
~Duck Salad~
~Chile Prawns & “Texas” Toast~
~Crispy Coconut Chile Rice~
~Whole Local Sea Bass “Fish Taco” Plate~
~The Lemongrass-Tequila & Mango Cocktail~
Welcome to Tribeca Laotian Cuisine!
