Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you’re able to get cozy at home and enjoy the comfort of family, friends, and of course great food today. I just can’t wait to get my first bite of pumpkin pie (which is truly all I crave every Thanksgiving) For the Turkey Day festivities, I’m wearing one my favorite fall dresses from Maggy London paired with this season’s must have camel coat from ASOS. For me, holiday dressing is all about feeling an extra bit special. Whether it’s a statement coat, a sparkling blazer, monochrome winter white, a bright bold red (dress, heel, even a lipstick), or a earrings that shine like ornaments holiday dressing is all about taking your look and adding a bit of glamour to it.
Today I’m feeling that extra bit luxurious in a rich warm camel cocoon style coat. It’s cozy enough to feel appropriate for Thanksgiving, while the printed body con dress is dressy enough for a family celebration. My accessories add shine to the look: a multi strap patent leather pump is super cool-girl chic, and the gold double cuff and double collar (love the pearl one here from Sangie Palm Beach) make a strong sophisticated statement. This contrasting neutrals look is bold, yet warm enough to be welcome and wanted at any holiday get together. I know this outfit will be on repeat as the season gets under way and undoubtably return come January for a reprieve.
